In 1937 California sculptor Arch Garner captured the essence of one of America´s most revered poets, Robinson Jeffers, whose strong features are portrayed in this classic bust. This piece is the original Terra Cotta master from which a mold was made to cast only one bronze sculpture at Deetjen's Inn in Big Sur, California. Only three plaster copies were cast and were curated by Occidental College, the University of California at Santa Barbara and the Sunset Community Art Center in Carmel, California. This one-of-a-kind, museum quality bust is the original Terra Cotta sculpture and is a formidable artwork for the discerning collector.
